Federal prosecutors have brought charges against four Russian nationals and a Ukrainian man accusing them of running a massive hacking and credit card fraud ring. Prosecutors believe the group is responsible for the theft of more than 160 million credit card numbers from major U.S. retailers, banks and card processors.
The hackers are charged with attacks on NASDAQ, 7-Eleven, Carrefour, JCP, Hannaford, Heartland, Wet Seal, Commidea, Dexia, JetBlue, Dow Jones, Euronet, Visa Jordan, Global Payment, Diners Singapore and Ingenicard.
