UFC champ Demetrious Johnson, along with Tyron Woodley and Joe Warren to ...

Evolve MMA is fast emerging as the training destination of choice for elite level mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters.

To that end, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, along with Bellator bantamweight champion Joe Warren and UFC welterweight contender Tyron Woodley are all heading to Singapore this July.

Both Johnson and Woodley have business to attend to first with the former set to defend his 125-pound title against Ali Bagautinov at UFC 174 (preview) and the latter set to take on Rory Macdonald in a 170-pound title eliminator on the same card with the winner guaranteed a shot at Johnny Hendricks (we think).

Warren won the Bellator 145-pound tournament in 2010 and went on to win the belt itself in the same year. He is currently competing at 135 pounds and claimed the interim version of the bantamweight title by beating Rafael Silva by unanimous decision earlier this year.

Next up for Warren should be a shot at regular Bellator division champion Eduardo Dantas, although the Brazilian suffered a head injury in training and there is currently no time scale on his recovery. He will have a chance to prepare for that potential match up by working with some of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belts and Muay Thai champions at Evolve MMA.

If all goes according to plan for Woodley at UFC 174, he could have a title fight with Hendricks booked by the time he lands in Singapore while Johnson will be looking to successfully defend his strap for the fourth time when he takes on Bagautinov on the same night.

A mooted seminar in Singapore involving Jon Jones, Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre turned out to be a hoax, but fight fans there will get a glimpse of some UFC and Bellator champions and potential champions to be this July with these three fighters heading to Evolve MMA.

The Evolve MMA fight team currently has former Bellator champion Ben Askren, current ONE FC lightweight champion Shinya Aoki, UFC welterweight contender Tarec Saffiedine and UFC lightweight contender Rafael Dos Anjos on the roster while the likes of Dan Henderson, Rich Franklin and Joseph Benavidez have recently traveled there to train.

The top camps in the world have traditionally been in the U.S. and Brazil, though slowly but surely Evolve MMA is helping to put Singapore on the map.
