Publicis Singapore has made two senior hires. Sharon Tan (pictured) has been appointed regional business director and Lian Ju Han as planning director.

“Sharon and Ju Han belong to a new breed of rising talent in Asia. Both are progressive thinkers who advocate positive change on the brands they work on as proven by their track records. They are a perfect fit to our growing team of passionate, young entrepreneurial people,” according to Lou DeLa Pena, CEO of Publicis Singapore.

Prior to this role, Tan was branding director at SOHO, China’s largest prime office real estate developer, leading SOHO’s digital communications, social media and e-Commerce.

Prior to her China stint, Tan held several senior agency client management roles in Singapore, managing global brands like Singapore Airlines, InterContinental Hotels Group, Lexus and ESPN.

Lian started his career in JWT Malaysia handling accounts such as HSBC Malaysia, Celcom, Ford and POS Malaysia. Prior to his new appointment, Lian was the lead planner at DDB, working on accounts such as McDonald’s, Singapore’s Health Promotion Board (HPB) and Unilever.

He was also a pitch lead on several key wins for the DDB, including the National Environment Agency (NEA), HPB’s renewal and Project Jewel under the Changi Airport Group.
