SINGAPORE – A Singapore Airlines flight was grounded on Monday due to a white powdery substance found on board before takeoff.
SQ806, bound for Beijing from Singapore, was scheduled to depart at 4.50 pm from Changi Airport, but tweets from passengers said that the plane was delayed due to discovery of a “suspicious white substance” in the baggage area at about 3.45 pm.
SQ806 Suspicious white powder in the cargo-hold led to the decision to take the aircraft off line.
