The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is relocating the existing Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantry at Kallang Road to Geylang Road, some 400 metres away from its current location.

SINGAPORE: The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is relocating the existing Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantry at Kallang Road to Geylang Road, some 400 metres away from its current location.
In a statement on Friday, LTA said the gantry is being relocated as part of the road widening project in the Kallang area.
Work to install the columns for the relocated gantry is scheduled to begin on January 7 and the switch-over of the gantry to the new location is expected to be done by March 2014.
In the interim, motorists will see two separate ERP gantries along Kallang Road and Geylang Road, but the gantry at the new location will only come into operation after the existing one has been decommissioned.
LTA also said ERP charges at the gantry will remain unchanged with the relocation.
