Drag racing must be one of the craziest sports on earth, and now, your kids can do it too. NHRA recently dropped the age limit of competition to just 5 years old, allowing children to learn how to ride a bicycle without training wheels on Saturday and then race a fire-breathing dragster on Sunday. OK. It doesn’t breath fire, and the five year olds run by themselves using a crate engine from Briggs and Stratton with a restrictor in place. When you’re six, however, then things get interesting. You’ll be racing “head-to-head on track at the 13.90-second index,” this time without a restrictor. Like with all sports, if you want to be the best, you better start young. If you have a shot to share, please add it to the Motoramic group on Flickr, or send us a message via Twitter, Facebook and Google+. And thanks to Bill Jacomet for this one.
