- Thai production and sales group, Five Star Production sold horror film Long Weekend (pictured) to Eurofilms for Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia.
The company also pre-sold 3AM Part 2 to Taiwan ‘s Deepjoy, Hong Kong’s Passion Entertainment, rights in Cambodia, Vietnam and Burma to Soundspace and Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei to Singapore-based Clover Films.
- Focus Features International has struck multiple deals on Kevin Macdonald’s heist thriller, Black Sea starring Jude Law.
E-Stars acquired rights in China; E1 acquired those in Australia and New Zealand.
(Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisition (SPWA) acquired Germany, Austria, German-speaking Switzerland, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and Latin America. Backup Media invested against distribution rights in France, Benelux and French speaking Switzerland.)
