Human trafficking continues–only the method has changed. Trafficker, first issue tourist visa to the people and then take them to Indonesia. Once out of India their job becomes rather easy. They manage to send people to different locations via Singapore route.
This was revealed to the authorities when Sukhvinder Singh, a resident of Jalandhar, got deported to India from Singapore. He was trying to reach Barcelona but his journey was cut short at Singapore airport.
In another case, Ram Lal managed to reach Germany via Singapore but got arrested when he came back to India.
