This June, I, along with few of my friends travelled to the land of Kangaroos, Australia. We spent about 15 days in Australia and made our first abroad trip with fun and excitement. From the exotic locales to the boulevards to the interesting places, all of them were a pleasure to visit. Till date, we had only read about Australia either in our geography books , seen the place in Television or in the pages of the magazine but visiting the place in person left us awestruck as we were mesmerized and remained speechless by the natural beauty of the smallest continent of the world. So, I thought why not pen down the exciting trip.
Australia is the largest island in the world. The temperature of the country varies from one place to another but in most of the places you are bound to find sunny days. Since, we went there in the month of June so we had to stuff our bags with lots of warm clothes as winter had just set in at that time. Till the month of August, winter stays here. Arriving here after August, you will be welcomed by the spring. Being one of the driest continents on earth, Australia receives scanty rainfall as less as 600 millimetres throughout the year.
There are a number of flights that operates directly from India to Australia. Flights of Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Qantas and Thai Airlines operate frequently from New Delhi. In the evening the eye gleaming lights are just wonderful to watch as thousands of tourists flock around this huge architecture to take pictures.

Throughout the year different places of the country are crowded with sports enthusiasts all the time. Whether it is the Australian Open at the Melbourne Park or the F1 Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park and not to forget the MCG Grounds or the Brisbane’s Gaba as well as the Ashes grounds.
