Business travellers vote for their favourite airlines and hotels

In the 16th edition of the Condé Nast Business Travel Awards, more than 79,000 surveys from business travellers were tabulated to come up with a ranking of the best airlines and hotels around the world.

The Virgin brand emerged a recurring favourite, as Virgin America was voted the best airline for business travel in the US for the sixth consecutive year, while Virgin Atlantic took the same title for Europe.

Business travellers gave Virgin America top marks in categories like ticketing, website, cabin comfort, service, entertainment and food, for example.

In Asia, Singapore Airlines took the top spot for its superior customer service and comfortable seating with legroom to spare.

And with a top score of 99 out of a possible 100, luxury property the St. Regis Atlanta was voted the best hotel for business travel in the US, while the landmark hotel The Peninsula Hong Kong was named the best in Asia.
