A new upscale business hotel opened in Singapore earlier this month.
Located in the Tanjong Pagar district of the city, the Carlton City Hotel Singapore is a modern 29-storey hotel offering 386 rooms and suites across four categories – deluxe, executive, club and suite.
Rooms start from 32m² and include a range of amenities such as large work desks, ergonomic chairs and 40-inch LED televisions. Guests staying in the club rooms or suites will also be offered access to the 28th floor Carlton Club lounge. Wireless internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel.
The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant called Plate, which offers view of the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool, plus a rooftop sky bar, gymnasium, business centre and two meeting rooms.
“We are most pleased to introduce Carlton City Hotel Singapore as a prominent addition to the city skyline,” said the hotel’s GM, Mark Bulmer.
“We like to describe Carlton City as a ‘contemporary classic’ hotel. Whilst we offer a grand marble lobby and functional guest room layout, designer-inspired furnishings and artwork give the hotel a fresh and contemporary edge. Our focus is to establish the property as a preferred hotel for the nearby business community,” he added.
The Carlton City Hotel Singapore has also become a member of Worldhotels.
