Virgin Australia will release a BlackBerry version of its Flight Specials App next week, following the success of its iPhone and Android apps.
A Virgin Australia spokesman confirmed to Australian Business Traveller that the new app is scheduled to appear in the BlackBerry World app store on Monday March 25th.
We’ve had a quick hands-on session with the app, running on the slick new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, and it packs the same core functionality as its siblings.
Foremost is the ability to snare the best airfare for your next Virgin Australia flight, including international flights with partner airlines such as Air New Zealand, Etihad, Delta and Singapore Airlines.
You can also check the status of your flight…
… and of course, check in for your flight en route to the airport (or anywhere else you happen to be).
