Interest in the visa program





LAREDO, TX. – The World Forum of Logistic Cities was held last week in this city, aroused great interest of entrepreneurs from various countries to obtain visas for investors.

“We had visitors from Chile, Ecuador, Honduras, Peru, China, Singapore, Japan and Brazil, among others, almost all delegations showed great interest in the visa program for those who invest in the United States,” said Norma Nelly Vielma.


The legal advisor to the Consulate of Mexico in Laredo explained that within the delegations many entrepreneurs and professionals came and took information on the requirements they need.


“The laws of the United States have visas available for investors, for professionals and for people who work in areas referred in various trade agreements signed by the U.S.


with other countries,” she said. Vielma added that one of the points that she found most interesting to visitors was being able to bring their families to reside legally in the United States, including the option of having a legal residence in most cases.


“In this community there are great business opportunities in the field of international trade and is one of the activities that qualify for obtaining visas, either investment or professionals,” he said.


She stressed that in many cases, applicants may obtain an immigrant visa within 15 working days, after complying with all documentation requirements that are required by the U.S.


government. Vielma said this season is perfect to begin the process of visas for investment and professionals because applicants can take advantage of school holidays to do the entire process and begin the new school for their children in the United States.
