Indore witness 25-30% increase in tour business

Indore : Summer vacation is that time of the year when the family normally plans a holiday trip to shed out the stress of work and spend some good time with their family.

Families of Indore too are planning their holiday destinations, as gone are those days when families use to take their children to their ancestor’s place during the summer holidays. Families and kids want to make the most of this time and thus are looking for exclusive places in the country and around the globe for visiting.

Jammu and Kashmir, Leh-Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and North-East are trending Indian destination in the vacation. Whereas Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Malyasia are the hot picks in foreign destinations for Indians as they plan out their time out with family.

“Oh! The business of Indore in booking tours packages for different parts of the country and world is increasing every year. Whether it’s within India or abroad people of Indore are constantly pouring in for these travel packages” says, Ullas Nair owner of Lets Go Travels.

Travel agents of Indore are witnessing a rise of 25-30% in bookings done by Indoreans for Indian tour packages. Although, Leh-Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir have stared becoming a trend for visitors as from past three-four years travel agents are observing a whooping noumber of people demanding tour package for these locations.

The tempt to explore a new place, experience a new culture and imbibe the memory of the precious time spend with your loved ones is what every human wants and vacations being the best time to live this dream is leading to accelerating business.

Travel agents frame such tour packages which satisfy the every pocket size. The tour package with India comprises of anywhere between Rs 15000-1.5 Lakh which includes travel fare along with hotel bookings.

The demand is not limited to India tours. People of Indore increasingly preferring foreign destination as their preferred holiday destination. Singapore, Malyasia, Bali, Dubai, Europe, Thailand are the hot favourites among the foreign holiday destination. As, Vivek Srivastav owner of Journey Tours Travels says, “We are witnessing 15-20% hike in our booking every year which is very well for a tire two city.”

“The tour package for foreign location may be anywhere between Rs 30,000-3 lakh.” Added Vivek.
