Canon Singapore Launches “Try and Buy” Programme on its DSLR Lenses

Canon Singapore will soon be allowing Singaporeans,

PRs, and work permit or student visa holders in Singapore, to “Try

and Buy” its lenses before deciding whether to purchase them.

The

programme, which begins on 28 March 2013, allows Canon DSLR owners

to get up to two full days use out of their lenses of choice, for

a nominal fee.

“We believe in having our customers fully enjoy

our products and technology, and our Canon Lens “Try and Buy” Programme will further enhance that product experience of our DSLR

users by providing them with a platform to try out the more

popular lenses before a purchase,” said Mr. Andrew Koh, Senior

Director and General Manager of the Consumer Imaging and

Information Products Group, Canon Singapore.

The programme will be

useful for users who are deciding between the different

lenses in Canon’s comprehensive range of more than 70 EF and EF-S

lenses. While there is no obligation to make a purchase

subsequently, Canon is of course hoping that the programme will also attract

new users to its EOS photographic eco-system.
