COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited said on Tuesday that its shipyards have secured US$300 million worth of contracts.
The contracts are for the building of one accommodation barge and seven bulk carriers.
The shipyards are subsidiaries of the company’s 51 per cent-owned subsidiary, COSCO Shipyard Group Ltd.
They are not expected to have a material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the company for the year ending December 31, 2014.
